YOU ARE AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING, YOU ARE MADE IN PURE UNIQUENESS, YOU ARE CREATED FROM THE DIVINE, YOU ARE AMAZING

Exactly 6 years ago when I was in LA, I met one of my gurus: Micheal Bernard Beckwith.

Michael Bernard Beckwith is a New Thought minister, author and founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Beverly Hills, California, this is where I met him.

Micheal is more famously known for appearing in The Secret. I am a massive lover of all things to do with The Law of Attraction and first heard of this concept over 20 years ago. Since then, I have used vision boards combined with other techniques to help me to create the amazing life that I now live.

I remember the excitement that I felt walking into the Agape Center in LA.  I had gone along by myself, by the recommendation of a famous actor dude who I had met at the retreat that I was revisiting in California the week before. 

I walked in not knowing what to expect yet having the intention that I was going to meet Micheal Bernard Beckwith no matter what happened.

As I entered the door, there stood a stylish, well put together chap with a cool hat and beaming smile. We both laughed as we were being distracted by our phones and I felt like I’d met an old friend. It turns out that my new, old friend was in fact from Essex and had been working with Micheal for over 20 years! 

After a few minutes chatting, he took me through the whole building and introduced me to the most warm, open, smiley, welcoming congregation that could ever be. I was hand-shaken, hugged and blessed… ooh la la! It was a wonderful experience that has to be one of the most uplifting in my time.

Once the service started us newcomers were asked to stand up and WOW WOW WOW…what happened next was magical.

For every second I was in that building, I could feel every single cell of my body vibrating on a different level.

I felt alive.

I felt in the right space at the right time.

I felt like my whole life had brought me to that very moment.

IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Now, bear in mind that this room was more like an auditorium, it had 8,000 people in. Now, imagine this for one moment: I am alone in this amazing place, with nobody that I knew other than my new friend Barry, with Micheal Bernard Beckwith instructing everybody who was sitting down to chant things at me like ‘YOU ARE AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING, YOU ARE MADE IN PURE UNIQUENESS, YOU ARE CREATED FROM THE DIVINE, YOU ARE AMAZING!’ 

It went on and on, Michael would chant something and then the audience would repeat it to all of us upstanding newcomers. Everybody around me was looking at me, holding their hands up to me, sending me love, telling me how frickin’ amazing I was, yet they didn’t even know me!

WHAT. A. TRIP!

Honestly, the level of transformation that happens in moments like these in my life, (and there have been many) is absolutely breathtaking.

They say that life is not measured by the amount of breaths that we take, but by the moments that take your breath away!

Agape runs online services every single week which I would highly recommend.  I am so grateful for that moment and now more than ever as I am having time to reflect on so many of the amazing experiences that I have had in my life, I am grateful for the adventures that I have manifested from simply being open, following my heart and listening to my intuition.

It has never been wrong, there have simply been moments when I haven’t listened…and that’s for another time.
